Bhutan's Accessibility
Bhutan is a landlocked country, so visitors can enter only by air or land. There are only two international airlines operating in and out of the country's only international airport, Paro.
By Flight
Drukair, the national carrier of Bhutan, and Bhutan Airlines are the two airlines that operate flights to and from Paro Airport.
- Drukair operates flights to Singapore, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Dhaka, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bagdogra, Bodhgaya, and Guwahati.
- Bhutan Airlines operates flights to Bangkok, Kathmandu, Delhi, and Kolkata.
By Land
You can also enter Bhutan by road from India through the border towns of Phuentsholing, Gelephu, and Samdrup Jongkhar.
